Terminated from Service - Indemnity & transfer

I have been in Kuwait since January 2001. Seven months ago I was hired by an employer, and the contract was for an unspecified term. Recently my employer served me a termination notice with a 3-month notice period stating that the position in which I had been working has been abolished due to structural changes of the company. I just want to know what are the end of service benefits I am supposed to get, and also can I transfer to another employer?

Answer:
As you have been terminated you will get indemnity for the fraction of the year that you worked with the firm i.e. at the rate of 15 days per year. Secondly, for the same reason, you can transfer to another company.
