Drunk trio beat up officers, steal police vehicle

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 1: Securitymen arrested three Kuwaiti youths for consuming alcohol, beating officers on duty and stealing a police vehicle.
While patrolling in Salmiya, a team of officers noticed a Kuwaiti youth entering a building in the area with a bottle of alcohol in his hand. The officers stopped the youth for routine inspection but he resisted. His two friends, also Kuwaitis, suddenly appeared and they took turns in beating the officers. One of them took the police vehicle, then the other two rushed inside the vehicle and they fled from the scene.
The officers found the vehicle after half an hour of searching the area. The three youths were also arrested and referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.

Boys hurt in fight: Two teenaged boys, 16 and 19 years old, suffered multiple injuries after engaging in a public brawl, involving 20 young men at an entertainment park in Hawally.
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the scene after the Operations Room received a call from one of those who witnessed the fight. The injured were referred to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital, while three of the youths are taken to a nearby police station for questioning. The other youths reportedly fled when they sensed police presence.
A case was registered and initial investigations revealed the youths engaged in a fistfight after a heated argument over a girl.
