KUWAIT CITY, Aug 26: Securitymen arrested an Iranian grocer in possession of heroin and syringes in Salmiya and referred him to authorities. The Iranian was under the influence of drugs at the time of arrest.

Kidnap bid foiled: Police are looking for an unidentified motorist for attempting to kidnap with the intention to rape a 25-year-old Asian woman in Mahboula, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
In her complaint to the police the woman said she was walking on the pavement of a street on her way to her house when a man pulled over.
He convinced her to get in the car but she refused. He then climbed out of the car and tried to force her into his vehicle but she managed to escape and entered a building in the area.
