Screaming girl foils kidnap bid; Filipina yells away pesterers
KUWAIT CITY, Aug 23: A girl filed a case in Farwaniya police station against two youths who tried to kidnap her in front of a commercial complex.
The girl narrated she was standing near the commercial complex when suddenly two youths approached and tried to force her into a car. She said the youths fled the scene when she screamed for help. Police collected details of the suspects and registered a case against them.

The woman said she yelled at the youths who sexually harassed her and they escaped. She provided police with their description, so they will be called for questioning.
Hawkers nabbed: In a recent campaign, securitymen from Farwaniya security directorate arrested 6 hawkers selling spoilt vegetables and 20 residency law violators in Jleeb Shuyoukh and Farwaniya areas. The culprits were referred to the concerned authority for necessary action. Sources said the campaign will continue over an indeterminate period to arrest violators of law.
Fight over way: An Egyptian national and an Ethiopian sustained injuries in various places of their bodies when an argument over the right of way turned to fisticuffs at a Roundabout in Farwaniya area.

Roommate blamed: An Asian expatriate filed a case against a compatriot and roommate for allegedly stealing KD 180. According to the complaint, he lives with the suspect who also knows where he keeps money. A case was registered.
