Well-dressed Kuwaiti, owning 2011-model car sought for begging Egyptian Dentist extracts wrong tooth

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 20: Police are looking for a Kuwaiti man, believed to be in his 30s, for begging from well-known companies in Kuwait City, reports Al-Anba daily.
Front office personnel at these companies called police, saying the beggar looked presentable and requested to meet any responsible official in the company. They added that the man aroused sympathy by claiming that he fell in debts and is unable to repay them. He reportedly collected KD 250 in an hour using the ploy. One of the officers added that the beggar left in a 2011-model car.
Meanwhile, Hawalli police arrested two Asians for begging near an ATM machine in Salmiya, the daily added.
One of the beggars reportedly admitted that he has been collecting money ranging between KD 40 and 70 every day since the start of Ramadan.

Doc, it’s wrong tooth: An Egyptian dentist filed a complaint, accusing two Kuwaitis of assaulting him, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The dentist, who works in a private clinic, said he extracted the tooth of a Kuwaiti patient and was shocked when the latter came back after an hour with his brother and started beating him, saying he pulled out the wrong tooth.
The dentist submitted medical reports to substantiate his claims.

Worker assaulted: A 35-year-old Egyptian worker at a restaurant in Salmiya suffered a deep wound in his head when an unidentified customer hit him with a sharp object, says Al-Seyassah.
Securitymen and medical emergency workers rushed to the location after receiving a call from one of the victim’s colleagues. The Egyptian told police he was surprised when the customer attacked him when he informed that the restaurant is about to close. He was referred to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital. Police are now looking for his assailant.
