KUWAIT CITY, Aug 18: Mubarak Al-Kabeer securitymen arrested two youths, who kidnapped and raped an Asian housemaid, in Sabah Al-Salem.
Security sources said the youths kidnapped the woman and took her to an undisclosed location where they allegedly raped her. After obtaining a detailed description of the suspects from the maid, the securitymen launched a manhunt for the youths, resulting in their arrest.  They were referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.

Worshippers harassed: Police are looking for a group of youngsters who allegedly entered a mosque in Taima area during evening prayers and started harassing other worshippers, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. Allegedly, they even pelted stones at the worshippers.
Police rushed to the place on receiving information, but the youngsters had escaped by then.

Sheep stolen: Police are looking for five thieves who attacked a watchman at a livestock pen in Kabad and escaped with nine sheep, reports Al-Rai daily.
The Kuwaiti owner of the pen filed a complaint at Jahra Police Station and said the culprits escaped in a pick-up truck.
The description of the suspects and their vehicle has been circulated to all check posts.

Maid probed in theft: Securitymen at Surra Police Station are interrogating an Asian maid who allegedly stole KD 580 and a watch worth KD 3,500 from her sponsor’s house, reports Al-Rai daily.
The sponsor, in his complaint, said he discovered the theft when he went inside his room to look for the items.
He added that except the maid who cleans the place, nobody else entered the room.

Taxi driver robbed: A Pakistani roaming taxi driver was robbed of KD 350, a laptop and mobile phone in Khaitan area, reports Al-Rai daily.
The victim filed a complaint, saying three men flagged his taxi in Farwaniya and asked him to take them to Khaitan. On reaching the destination, however, one of them put a knife at his neck, while the other two snatched his money, laptop and mobile before escaping.
Police are looking for the suspects based on the description provided by the complainant.

3 held with drugs: Ahmadi securitymen arrested three Kuwaiti men in possession of 35 narcotic pills, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The men were caught by police patrols who noticed their suspicious behavior and stopped them for checking. The patrol officers also arrested three Indians in Mahboula area in possession of 12 bottles of local alcohol.
All the six men were referred to authorities for further action.
