KUWAIT CITY, Aug 18: The Ministry of Interior has denied reports about a traffic citation which was reportedly issued to a motorist because of his bad breath. Some local newspapers had published the photo of the citation in which it was mentioned that the motorist had bad breath.
In a press release, the ministry said the photo was doctored to add the text ‘bad breath’ to the citation. It added that its violations department checked the records and found that the officer who was issued the citation book from Police Department in Hawalli governorate still had the book and that he did not issue the citation whose number appeared in the photo.  Traffic authorities also stated that the motorist whose name is mentioned on the citation has been outside the country since July 17, 2011.
