Filipina abducted, raped by 2 as Nepali woman ‘liberated’
KUWAIT CITY, Aug 17: Police are looking for two men who kidnapped a Filipina on Al-Ghous Street opposite Mubarak Al-Kabeer area, rep-orts Al-Watan Ara-bic daily.
The Filipina was on her way home when the men forced her into their car and drove to a location where they had sex with her in turns. The victim provided police with description of the suspects’ car, which has since been circulated to various security checkpoints for their arrest.
In a similar incident, Ahmadi securitymen apprehended an Afghani man who kidnapped a Nepalese woman in July and detained her inside a studio in Fintas, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Acting on information, securitymen raided the studio and liberated the female. The kidnapper has since been referred to relevant authority.
Did not return debt: Security operatives nabbed an Arab man wanted for financial crime worth KD 5,700, reports Alam Al-Yawm daily.
The suspect was apprehended along a street in Salmiya, as he aroused suspicion of securitymen, and they called him for checking. It was then they discovered he had failed to pay back a KD 5,700 he owes a company.
Similarly, police arrested a 29-year old Kuwaiti wanted for a KD 4,800 financial offense, the daily added.
The suspect was arrested along the Arabian Gulf Street late at night and seemed confused when he saw police.
