KUWAIT CITY, Aug 15: A new-born baby boy was found recently near a garbage bin in Sabah Al-Salem.
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location immediately after the Operations Room at the Ministry of Interior received a call from a passerby who found the baby. Security sources confirmed the baby is in good health condition and he was referred to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital for the necessary medical tests. Investigations are underway to identify the parents of the baby.

Fatwa against Syrian envoy: The Public Prosecution recently heard the testimony of MP Jamaan Al-Harbash on the case file by the Ministry of Interior against MP Mohammed Hayef for calling for the issuance of a fatwa on the killing of the Syrian ambassador to Kuwait.
It has been reported Hayef openly expressed his opinion on the need to issue the fatwa in a seminar in solidarity with the Syrians at the Erada Square some weeks ago. This had prompted the ministry to sue the lawmaker, accusing him of disrespecting the international agreements that Kuwait signed with the neighboring countries.
Hayef is currently being interrogated by the Public Prosecution to pave the way for putting him on trial.
