Bangladeshi Drug peddler held Teen nabbed for running over traffic cop

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 15: A Bangladeshi expatriate was apprehended by anti-narcotics officers for drug trafficking and consumption.
This followed a tip-off the Assistant Undersecretary of Criminal Security Affairs in Ministry of Interior Major General Sheikh Ahmad Al-Khalifa Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah received about his activities.
A team of detectives was formed to arrest the suspect, and in coordination with anti-narcotics officers and management of the company the suspect worked for, he was caught in Fahaheel with 200 grams of heroin, 1000 narcotic pills, a sensitive scale and other drug-related materials.
During interrogation, the suspect confessed to the crime and named his accomplice as one inmate serving a term in the Central Prison. He has since been referred, with the items, to the relevant authority.

Teen nabbed: Police arrested a Kuwaiti youngster for attempting to kill a traffic policeman by running over him, reports Al-Anba daily.
Police rushed to a place in Al-Zahr area after coming to know that more than 150 youngsters were performing stunts with their vehicles. One of the youngsters ran over a policeman in an attempt to escape, but he was caught and arrested. The injured policeman meanwhile was referred to hospital for treatment.
