Daylight gambling in the courtyard of a mosque
KUWAIT CITY, Aug 14: Police arrested three Asians for gambling during broad daylight in the courtyard of a mosque in Shamiya, reports Al-Anba daily.
The Asians were caught in the act and police confiscated money and gambling tools from their possession.
Computers stolen: Police are looking for burglars who stole 10 cartons containing computers from the truck of a Kuwaiti man, reports Al-Anba daily.
In his complaint, the Kuwaiti said the theft took place in Shuwaikh Industrial Area when he was on his way to deliver computers to his company’s customers.
Guard shot at: Police are looking for unidentified youngsters for shooting at an Asian guard at a livestock pen in Kabad, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The Asian was rushed to hospital with injuries in his foot.
He told police that he had a dispute with some youths who shot at him with a 2-barrel-hunting gun.
Copper rolls taken: Police are looking for a burglar who broke into the company of an Iranian man in Shuwaikh and escaped with rolls of copper wires worth KD 7,000, reports Al-Anba daily.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department lifted fingerprints from the scene to identify the culprit.
