Saudis hand over citizen for allegedly murdering Kuwaiti Securitymen arrest hawkers, beggars

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 12: After two weeks of consultation, the Saudi Arabian security authorities have finally surrendered one of its citizens alleged to have murdered a Kuwaiti citizen to the local authorities, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to sources, the Criminal Investigations Department on Thursday interrogated the suspect to determine rationale behind the crime he committed, before he was referred to the Public Prosecution for premeditated murder.
It had been reported that the deceased heard strange noise inside his home in Jleeb Shuyoukh and came out to check what it was. It was then the suspect stabbed the victim several times until he died.
Meanwhile, the suspect was identified after the victim’s family had been questioned by security forces, and information indicated that the suspect left the country to Saudi Arabia about an hour after committing the crime.
Sources noted that the Kuwaiti security forces quickly notified their Saudi Arabian counterpart of the issue, and the suspect was arrested upon arrival at Jeddah Airport.
The man was extradited after weeks of consultations with the Kuwaiti CID.

Securitymen arrest hawkers, beggars: Security operatives from Ahmadi have arrested 12 male and female beggars in the last 48 hours, as part of its campaign to eliminate begging in the holy month of Ramadan, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to sources, the beggars were arrested from markets in Fahaheel and Abu Halifa. The culprits have since been referred to the relevant authority for necessary action.
Meanwhile, security operatives from the Capital Governorate arrested 11 hawkers and 4 women who were caught begging, based on the directives of Acting Director of Security in the Capital Governorate Colonel Hussein Al-Shirazi, reports Al-Rai daily.
Sources said the culprits were referred to the relevant authority for necessary action.
