Termination - 3 months notice period

My company has terminated me from 03-06-2011, but they say I have to work for 3 months. Is it compulsory to work for 3 months or can I leave at any time since they have terminated me? Will they pay me for 3 months?

Name withheld

Answer:
According to the new Labour Law a 3-month notice has to be given for termination or resignation. You can’t just walk out and if you do, the company can deduct three months pay.
The company, meanwhile, has to pay you for the 3-month notice period.
