Residence stamping of new employee - 2 Months passed residence not stamped

I came to Kuwait on the 25th of May 2011 on a work visa. It’s been 2 months now and the company has not stamped my visa. I asked the mandoop (company representative) for the salary certificate (Izanamal) so that I can complete the finger prints procedure. But everytime I ask him he says it’s not ready yet. I am afraid I will get caught at a police checkpoint. I informed my superior also but with no results.
Now I am puzzled whom should I approach? Please advise me.

Name withheld

Answer:
If two months have passed then you are already in trouble because all the residence procedures must be finalised within 60 days of arrival. You should talk to someone senior than your supervisor because you will be arrested if you are caught at a checkpoint.

You must bring this lapse, on the part of your company, to the attention of your sponsor so that you get your residence quickly. That’s all you can do.
