I would like to ask about sick leave, I got ill a few months back and I went directly to a hospital. I got a letter from them and I gave to our general manager. I found out that he had deducted one day’s salary. How many sick leave days does an employee have?

Answer: The company can’t deduct your salary if you are on sick leave. According to Article 69 of the Kuwait Labor Law you are entitled to 15 days sick leave with full pay, 10 days at three-quarters pay, 10 days at half pay, 10 days at quarter pay and 30 days without pay.
