More hurt in 48-hr toll Many accidents on weekend

KUWAIT CITY, July 30: Many people, including two citizens and three Egyptians were injured in traffic accidents that occurred at various locations of the country in the last 48 hours. The two Kuwaitis and three Egyptians suffered various degrees of injuries when their cars collided on the Arabian Gulf Street, during which one of the cars caught fire. Acting on information, a rescue team rushed to the scene to assist the injured people who were taken to the Amiri Hospital for medical attention, while firefighters managed to extinguish the flames.

In another incident, two cars collided on Sabhan Bridge and resulted in injuries and additional fractures to a Kuwaiti man and a female compatriot. They were referred to the Adan Hospital by Medical Emergency Personnel. A girl and a Bedoun man sustained injuries in different places of their bodies in a two-car collision accident in Farwaniya. The injured people were helped to the Farwaniya Hospital by paramedics.

Meanwhile, two injured were seriously injured when their car overturned on the Fifth Ring Road, just before the bridge near the Avenues Mall. Paramedics were on hand to take the injured people to the Farwaniya Hospital for medical attention. And, Medical Emergency men referred a citizen who was seriously injured in an accident involving two vehicles on the Fourth Ring Road to Al-Sabah Hospital after the Operations Room had been notified in that regard.
