Maid kills herself; Kuwaiti, Asian die in mishaps Drunk citizen in accident KUWAIT CITY, July 27: A 39-year old Indian maid committed suicide inside her sponsor’s home in Saad Al-Abdullah area. Rescue team rushing to the scene after the Operations Room had been notified of the incident couldn’t revive the woman, since she was already dead before their arrival. Criminal Evidences Men investigated the crime scene and carried the body to Forensics. A case has since been registered.
Kuwaiti dies in fall: A Kuwaiti died when he fell from the fifth floor of a building in Hassawi. The Operations Room at the Ministry of Interior dispatched a team of police officers and medical emergency workers to the location immediately after receiving a call from a passerby, who saw the Kuwaiti fall from the building. When the rescue team arrived at the scene, the Kuwaiti had already succumbed to his head injuries. His remains were referred to Forensics to establish the actual cause of death. Investigations are underway to see if there is foul play involved in the victim’s fall from the building.
Asian found dead: An Asian man was found dead recently in his flat in Sharq. Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location after the Operations Room received a call from one of the Asian’s flat mates, who found him lying unconscious in his room. However, he was already dead when the officers and rescuers arrived at the flat. His remains were referred to Forensics and investigations are ongoing to determine the actual cause of death.
Drunkard in accident: Securi-tymen arrested a Kuwaiti for consuming alcohol and causing a traffic accident in Riqqae with a bottle of imported liquor in his possession. Responding to a call from a passerby who saw the Kuwaiti’s car crashing into two vehicles parked in the area, the securitymen rushed to the location. However, the Kuwaiti was no longer there but the eyewitnesses provided the officers with a detailed description of his car. He was arrested later with a bottle of liquor in his possession.
Man hurt in fight: A 21-year-old Kuwaiti sustained serious injuries after engaging in a fistfight with three compatriots along the seaside in Shuwaikh. Securitymen and medical emergency workers rushed to the location after receiving information on the fight. The rescuers took the injured to Amiri Hospital, while the security officers started searching for the three Kuwaitis, who fled from the scene upon sensing police presence.
