Contract termination

Can you please clarify the following: if an employer terminates a contract, without any fault of the employee, prematurely (before the expiration), then what are the dues (compensation) an employee should receive from the employer.

Name withheld

Answer:
If the contract is an ‘unlimited’ period contract then the employee should get only the payment for the notice period, indemnity for the period he served and also any unpaid leave salary.

But if the contract is a fixed period one, then in addition to the above the employee is entitled to salary for the uncompleted part of the contract.
