Expat teachers pay hike in Sept KUWAIT CITY, July 21: The approved salary increment for expatriate teachers will be included in their September salary, reports Annahar daily quoting sources.
Sources confirmed the Administrative Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Education has finalized procedures for the payment of the increment, which will benefit 19,219 expatriate teachers. Sources explained each teacher will receive KD 10 increment for every two years in service.
Source said the Civil Service Commission (CSC) has also approved the KD 50 increment for 656 expatriates working in the social and psychological services sector. in addition to the KD 50 accommodation allowance for 52 natural treatment and artificial limbs specialists.
On the other hand, the sources disclosed the Administrative Affairs Sector has also completed procedures for the payment of KD 50 increment to employees whose salary is above KD 1,000. Sources added a total of 16,000 workers will benefit from the salary increase at an estimated cost of KD 22 million.
