Many injured in traffic accidents

KUWAIT CITY, July 19: Many people were injured in traffic accidents occurring in different locations of the country. Rescue teams were deployed by the Operations Room to assist the victims.
Two citizens, 30 and 40 years old respectively suffered various degrees of injuries when their cars collided in Salwa area. Acting on information, a team of securitymen and paramedics rushed to the scene, and the injured people were taken to the Mubarak Hospital for medical attention. In another incident, two Kuwaitis were injured with additional fractures in different places of their bodies during a two-car collision accident along the Fifth Ring Road. Securitymen and paramedics were prompt to the scene after the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry had been notified of the accident, and the injured men were sent to the Mubarak Hospital for treatment. The road was totally jammed after the accident, but securitymen removed the debris and traffic was restored in no time.

Meanwhile, an individual suffered severe head injury after crashing his motorbike into a vehicle on the Fourth Ring Road. A rescue team was on hand to refer the injured man to the Sabah Hospital. A GCC national and a Bedoun man sustained various degrees of injuries in a two-car collision accident that occurred at the Doha Junction. A team was rescuers were deployed to the location by the Operations Room to help the injured people who were later referred to the Jahra Hospital. In yet another incident, two Kuwaitis were injured, with one of them suffering a heart attack after their vehicles collided near the Farwaniya Hospital. A rescue team carried the victims to the Farwaniya Hospital where they are receiving medical attention.

Also, a British woman and three Egyptians sustained injuries and additional fractures during an accident along King Fahad Motorway. Medical Emergency Men helped the injured people to the Adan Hospital, where they are receiving treatment. And, an Arab expatriate in his 30s was injured on Journalists Street after smashing his car into another car. Paramedics referred the injured man to the Sabah Hospital. A 41-year old Indian suffered severe injuries when he fell from an under-construction building in Fahaheel area. A rescue team arrived at the location and carried the man to the Adan Hospital, based on a distress call the Operations Room received about the accident.

KUWAIT CITY: A 48-year-old American escaped certain death following a traffic accident on the Arabian Gulf Street, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. Without going into details the daily said paramedics rushed to the scene of the accident and referred the injured to the Amiri Hospital. Two Kuwaitis were injured following a two-vehicle collision on the Sixth Ring Road on a bridge linking Mishref with Sabah Al-Salem, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. The motorists have been referred to a hospital.
