Visit Visas fees is still KD 3 Being a US citizen my wife gets a visit visa on arrival at Kuwait Airport for three months after paying KD 3. Please let me know two things: firstly will this KD 3 fees will be revised to KD 100 as we read in the newspaper? The other question is while in Kuwait on such a visa, can her status be changed to dependent visa on my sponsorship. If yes, what is the fees and the procedure?

Answer: First of all, the report on the KD 100 fees was only about a proposal which has not been approved so far which means the fees is still KD 3.
Secondly, visit visas can’t be changed to dependent visas except for infants.
