Police nab young Kuwaiti sorcerer for having sex with female clients

KUWAIT CITY, July 17 : Police have arrested a young Kuwaiti man for allegedly practicing black magic and having sex with his victims, reports Alam Alyawm daily. The arrest came following a complaint filed by a divorced Kuwaiti woman accusing the man of having sex with her. The complainant said she met the magician in a chat room and he claimed to have powers to solve marital problems with her ex-husband. He then lured her to meet him in his apartment and ‘raped’ her. When police arrested the man he admitted to having sex with the woman. He added it is through inducing women to have sex with him he gets power to cure their ills. He has been referred to the authorities.

20 illegal’s arrested: During a crackdown on residence law violators, police took their campaign to public transport buses and arrested 20 Asians, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. All those arrested have been referred to the Shuwaikh Police Station.

663-kg ‘unfit’ meat seized: The Kuwait Municipality inspectors have reportedly confiscated and damaged 663 kilos of luncheon meat from the Kuwaiti markets because the inspectors say the meat is unfit for human consumption, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting reliable Municipal sources. The sources disclosed the meat contained E12 — a harmful color.

Police arrest ‘cheat’ : Police have arrested an unidentified expatriate for cheating compatriots. The man reportedly claimed he had connections at higher levels and he could help their children get admission in universities overseas, collected KD 10,000 from them and ‘disappeared’, reports Al-Rai daily. Police say the victims were issued receipts for the money in the name of a company. When police began investigations they discovered he worked for the company for one year. Intensive police investigations led to the arrest of the suspect in Khaitan. He has been referred to the authorities.

Stolen car in accident: An unidentified person was severely injured when a four-wheel-drive motorist lost control of his vehicle in the parking lot of the Bayan Cooperative Society and damaged a salon, reports Al-Dar daily. Surprisingly the car was reported stolen by its owner. The daily did not give more details.

Hoax bomb call: When an unidentified person called the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior to inform that a bomb had been planted in the vehicle of a customs officer, police and bomb disposal experts rushed to the spot and discovered the call was a hoax, reports Al-Rai daily. Without going into details the daily said police are looking for the caller.

Man held for blasphemy : Police have taken into custody an unidentified academician of the Kuwait University and charged him with blasphemy, reports Al-Rai daily. According to reports the academician and his friend were in a café in Salmiya and over an argument the former cursed God. A case of blasphemy and assaulting a friend has been filed against the academician.

Elderly drunk arrested : Police have arrested an unidentified elderly Kuwaiti man for consuming alcohol, reports Alam Alyawm daily. The arrest came following a call from petrol station attendants in Da’iya. Police discovered the man had consumed one full bottle of imported liquor.
