Kuwaiti Female employees fight; Kuwaiti Girl ‘missing’ for 3rd time KUWAIT CITY, July 16: The Legal Affairs Department in the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor will summon two female working at the Labor Department in the Capital Governorate for fighting in front of visitors, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. The General Director of the Department and other employees had reportedly intervened, and a report was submitted to the Legal Affairs Department in that regard.
Kuwaiti Girl ‘missing’ for 3rd time: A Kuwaiti filed a missing person report on his 23-year-old daughter at the Jahra Police Station Saturday, reports Al-Seyassah daily. According to the Kuwaiti, this is the third time in a month that his daughter went missing. He told police that his daughter left after a heated argument between them some days ago and she has not returned home since then. The Kuwaiti went on to say he called their relatives and some of her friends but none of them knows her whereabouts, so he had no option but to report the incident to the police station. He provided the officers with a detailed description of his daughter to ease the search procedures.
New-born baby found: Securitymen found a newborn baby near a house in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The Operations Room at the Ministry of Interior dispatched a team of securitymen to the area immediately after receiving a call from a passerby, who heard the cries of a baby. It has been reported the caller found the baby wrapped in a cloth near a house in the area. The officers referred the baby, believed to be born a day before, to Farwaniya Hospital to ensure he is healthy.
Investigations are ongoing to identify the parents of the baby and to take the necessary legal action against them.
KD 1,000 reward offered: A Kuwaiti man offers a reward of KD 1,000 to any person who finds or gives information about two persons who worked at his shop for selling mobile telephones and allegedly escaped with KD 20,000, reports Al-Anba daily. The man filed a complaint with police and provided the photographs of the two alleged thieves.
Police arrest drunkard: Police have arrested an unidentified person for consuming alcohol, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. The drunkard was high on liquor and had parked his car at the Qadisiya and Al-Sha’ab Intersection. Acting on information, a patrol team was dispatched to the scene. They arrested and referred the drunkard to the concerned authority without delay.
