Two Bangladeshis fight over ‘alcohol’ KUWAIT CITY, July 16: Police rushed to a location in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh after the Operations Department received a distress call reporting a fight between two Bangladeshis, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. Police uncovered the Bangladeshis were fighting over a bottle of local liquor. They were referred to the relevant authority.
Man shoots at nephew: Police officers apprehended a Kuwaiti man for shooting at his nephew, reports Al-Rai daily.A police source said the nephew filed a complaint in Firdous police station accusing his uncle of trying to kill him. Later, the uncle was arrested when a case of bullet was found in his possession. However he denied the charges.
4 cellphones stolen: Police are looking for burglars who broke into a shop for selling cellphones in Sharq and escaped with four phones, reports Al-Qabas daily.Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the culprits.
Inmate attacks officer: A lieutenant at the Central Prisons lodged a complaint in Sulaibiya police station against a prisoner serving a jail term on drug-related crime for attacking and causing injury to him, reports Al-Rai daily. The officer submitted a medical report to substantiate his claims.
Wild wolf killed: Three Kuwaiti hunters shot dead a wild wolf they spotted while hunting at the Northern borders, reports Al-Anba daily. The three hunters did not call the Operations Department of the Interior Ministry when they came across the wolf fearing arrest for the possession of firearms. They reportedly chased and shot it dead.
