KUWAIT CITY, July 9: Police arrested a Bangladeshi expatriate in his 40s Friday evening for the possession of 7 bottles of liquor in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, after which they discovered the suspect was wanted by law.
Sources said the man aroused suspicion of securitymen as they spotted him inside a car in the area late at night. The officers checked his data and civil ID, and went on to conduct a search inside the car and finally found the box containing liquor. He was referred to the concerned authority without delay.

Asian held with porno CDs: An Asian expatriate was arrested by police in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh with a huge quantity of pirated pornographic CDs in his possession.
Sources said securitymen received information about activities of the Asian expatriate who traded in pornographic CDs and they managed to arrest him, as he tried in vain to escape. He was referred to the concerned authorities.

Man cheated of KD 3,000: A 39-year-old citizen was swindled by two compatriots who convinced him to join them in a KD 9,000 lucrative business about two months. He said the suspects collected KD 3,000 from him.
The citizen complained that his partners have since disappeared and he has tried in vain to contact them. He provided police their data for circulation at various security checkpoints for their arrest. A case was registered.

13 sheep stolen: A citizen in his 50s filed a case in Kabad police station and reported that 13 sheep were stolen from his livestock pen Friday evening. A case was registered while securitymen are searching for the thief.

20-year-old son missing: A citizen in his 30s reported in Ardiya police station that his 20-year-old son left home after a minor family dispute and refused to come back. The boy’s details have since been circulated to the various security checkpoints. A case was registered.
