Kindly advise the procedure for transfer of my wife’s visa from work visa to dependent visa as she has decided to resign. My salary meets the requirements. How long will it take? Do the medical/fingerprints to be done again?

Answer: You should not have a problem in doing a local transfer, if she gets a release. If she doesn’t and if she has not been in the country for three years, you can always get a new visa. She can then leave the country and come back on the new document. If you do a local transfer, there will be no medical or fingerprints but if she leaves the country and comes back on the new document, she will have to do the medical again.
