Two die, seven injured in separate traffic accidents Kuwaiti suffers burns

KUWAIT CITY, July 5: Two people died and seven others were injured in separate traffic accidents reported in the country on Tuesday.
A Kuwaiti and a GCC national were killed and an Iraqi expatriate was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Kabad Motorway. The Iraqi was referred to Farwaniya Hospital while the remains of the other two men were referred to Forensics.
Also, a Kuwaiti, 18, suffered injuries in a traffic accident on the Sixth Ring Road. He was referred to Mubarak Hospital for treatment.

His compatriot, 21, was injured in an accident involving a car and a motorbike. Paramedics had referred the victim to Amiri Hospital.
Furthermore, another Kuwaiti, 27, suffered burns when two vehicles collided and one of them caught fire on Maqwai Motorway. Paramedics referred him to Farwaniya Hospital, while firefighters doused the fire.
A 15-year-old Kuwaiti sustained injuries in yet another two-vehicle collision on Salmi Motorway. He was referred to Jahra Hospital for treatment. A compatriot woman met a similar fate on King Fahd Motorway and had to be rushed to Adan Hospital.
And a vehicle overturned on the Sixth Ring Road, injuring a Kuwaiti man. He was referred to Farwaniya Hospital for treatment.

KUWAIT CITY: Firemen from the Al-Qurain and Mubarak Al-Kabir fire centers acting on information rushed to a residential building in Jaber Al-Ali and put out fire to the apartment of a Kuwaiti family and prevented it from spreading to other apartments, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. One fireman who inhaled fumes while fighting fire was treated on the spot. No casualties have been reported.
The fire was reportedly caused by an electrical short circuit on the third floor apartment.
