Visas for Pakistanis My son was born in Kuwait and his passport was also issued here. But since my company was creating problems for me by not giving me back my passport, release etc., I had to go daily to the courts and ministries. Due to all this, I did not get my son’s visa stamped and sent my entire family to Pakistan on Feb 14th. Now, I want to bring my family here before the completion of six months on Aug 14. I have two daughters who have valid residence, but my son, who is now seven months old, is not being granted a visa. I went to the visa section twice, but they rejected my application. I have been working in Kuwait since Aug 1, 1997. Kindly advise what steps I should take.

Answer: There is nothing you can do at the moment except pray that the ban on issuance of visas is lifted soon. So far no new dependent or visit visas are being granted to Pakistanis regardless of the circumstances.
