Abandoned baby girl found; police nab 8
KUWAIT CITY, June 29: Paramedics referred a baby girl abandoned near an unidentified embassy to the Mubarak Hospital after a passerby heard the cries of a new born and notified the Operations Room. Doctors assured the baby was in good health after conducting a check on her. A case has since been registered for investigation to trail the parents.
8 persons held: In their continuous campaign against vice, officers from Jahra Security Directorate mounted checkpoints at various locations in the area and arrested 8 persons without civil ID cards and 2 others involved in criminal and civil offenses. The campaign is likely to continue in the area over an indeterminate period.
Cellphone stolen: A Kuwaiti man filed a case against unknown thieves who broke into his car in Jahra area and stole mobile phone. A case was registered for investigation.
