Sheikh shoots at girlfriend’s car
KUWAIT CITY, June 26: The Salwa police have summoned a young member of the ruling family for interrogation for allegedly shooting at the car of a Kuwaiti woman. The incident happened in Salwa, reports Al-Rai daily.
The woman reportedly works for the Ministry of Health.
She was reportedly driving along a street in Salwa and when the suspect — believed to be her boyfriend — asked her to pull over, she ignored him.
The enraged sheikh then allegedly shot at her vehicle and escaped. No one was hurt in the incident.
‘No smoking’: An unidentified Member of Parliament reportedly behaved very rudely and verbally abused the reception employees at the Farwaniya Hospital just because they reminded the parliamentarian that it was ‘Prohibited’ to smoke inside the hospital premises in compliance with a ministerial decision, reports Al-Shahed daily.
This happened when the MP was visiting his sick son. The MP was politely asked to put off his cigarette when some patients complained about smoke.
The MP allegedly took it as an insult.
The MP then allegedly threatened to grill the health minister.
But he later obliged and went outside the hospital to complete his smoking.
Lovers arrested: Police ha-ve arrested a youth and his girlfriend for allegedly indulging in immoral activities, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources the couple parked their car beside a tree in the ‘No Parking’ zone and was making love.
The couple was arrested after an unidentified person informed the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior. The couple has been referred to the authorities.
