Nepalese maid, compatriot boyfriend nabbed

KUWAIT CITY, June 23: The Mubarak Al-Kabir police have arrested an unidentified Nepalese maid for helping her compatriot boyfriend to enter her room to make love to her, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to reports the sponsor heard two people talking inside the maid’s room and informed the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior.
Cops rushed to the home of the Kuwaiti and caught the couple in a compromising position.
During interrogations both agreed they are married and both have children in their home country. They have been charged with adultery and referred to the concerned authorities.

Grocer robbed: A Bangladeshi grocer has filed a complaint with the Fintas police accusing two compatriots of robbing him, reports Al-Anba daily.
In his complaint to the police the man said, one of the suspects is known to him and the duo entered the shop under the pretext of buying groceries. One of them beat him and the other tied his hands behind his back stole KD 200. A case has been filed against the men. Police are looking for the suspects.

Cash, passports stolen: A Syrian employee of an unidentified company has been referred to the Criminal Evidences Department after the owner of the company accused him of breaking into the company safe and stealing money and passports of employees, reports Annahar daily.
A complaint has been filed at the Shuwaikh Industrial Area Police Station. In his complaint the owner of the company said he suspected the man when he failed to report for work.
Moreover, when the owner of the company tried to contact him, he discovered his cell phone had been switched off.

Police officer beaten: A Kuwaiti man has been arrested by the Salmiya police for beating a police officer on duty, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily quoting security sources said the incident happened when the officer ordered the man to pull over for violating traffic laws.
The suspect, who was allegedly drunk, took it as an offence and verbally abused and beat the officer.
He has been handed over to the authorities.
