New-born baby found dumped Asian molests girl
KUWAIT CITY, June 21: A team of paramedics accompanied securitymen to a location in Khaitan and referred a new born baby that had been found inside a box to a hospital. Sources said the baby was in good health. Police have open investigation to determine the parents.
Girl molested: An Asian expatriate was arrested by securitymen after the father of a girl accused him of fondling and assaulting his daughter who had accompanied their maidservant to a cooperative society in Umm Al-Hayman area. The Asian has since been referred to the concerned authority for further investigation.
Asian beaten: An Asian expatriate was beaten up by another person in front of the Sharia Faculty of Kuwait University on Tuesday. Passers-by found the victim lying in a pool of blood and called the Operations Room for help, following which paramedics rushed to the scene and referred the man to Amiri Hospital.
The attacker reportedly tried to take revenge for the fights which took place between him and the victim earlier.
Iron thieves held: Police arrested two Asians for stealing iron from Saad Al-Abdullah area and referred them to authorities.
Patrols on routine duty on the Sixth Ring Road, opposite Saad Al-Abdullah area, noticed the Asians traveling in a car and stopped them for inspection. One of them got down and took to his heels, forcing officers to give him a chase. During questioning, both men confessed that they steal iron and sell it in Amghara scrap area.
‘Stuntmen’ nabbed: Ahmadi police arrested three Kuwaitis and a Gulf national for performing stunts with their vehicles in Fahaheel area. Police also recovered 40 narcotic pills from the men who were high on alcohol at the time of arrest.
Love in car: A Kuwaiti citizen and his female companion were arrested by police after the Operations Room was notified that two people were committing immoral acts inside a car at a parking lot in Rawda area. They have since been sent to the concerned authority.
Two arrested: Two individuals were arrested for performing stunts with their vehicles at a wedding party in Rawda area. This follows report the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry received about a group of youths making stunts at a wedding ceremony in the area. Sources said the crowd scattered at the sight of police, but they managed to arrest the two suspects.
Drugs with teen: A 13-year old Arab national was arrested by patrolmen in Maidan Hawalli with a finger of hashish in his possession.
Apparently, the boy was spotted on foot when security officers asked for his civil ID and he couldn’t provide any. Later at the police station, the boy was questioned about the source of hashish in his possession but he declined to name the supplier, as he maintained he found it on the ground. He was referred for further investigation.
Kuwaiti swindled: A Kuwaiti citizen in his 30s filed a case against two other compatriots he knows for breach of trust and cheating.
According to the complainant, the suspects convinced him to join them in a mobile phone business in which he contributed KD 3,000. However, his partners escaped with the money, and he tried in vain to contact them via mobile. A case was registered against them, with their details circulated to checkpoints for their arrest.
