I have been working in a Kuwaiti engineering firm for the last two and half years. Recently I was discharged from a hospital with an additional seven days sick leave, which will be up to June 26. So the total sick leave will be 15 days (ie. June 12 to June 26) My question is how will my company/Kuwaiti Labour Law calculate my sick leave?

Answer: It doesn’t matter how many years you have worked for a company. It is not linked to your tenure in the firm. It is calculated separately for each year and if not used it is forfeited.
According to the law, you are entitled to 15 days sick leave with full pay, 10 days at three quarters pay, 10 days at half pay, 10 days at quarter pay and 30 days without pay.
As you took only 15 days, you are entitled to full pay.
