KUWAIT CITY, June 14: Police arrested a maid and her Asian boyfriend for indulging in an immoral act inside the maid’s room in her sponsor’s house in Qaser area.
The Kuwaiti sponsor went to investigate when he heard strange sounds coming from the maid’s room and saw the couple together. He immediately called police and got them arrested.

‘Faithful servant’ Selling drugs for sponsor : The Filipino housemaid of a Kuwaiti inmate at the Central Prisons has been arrested by anti-narcotic men for peddling in drugs. It seems that the woman sold drugs on behalf of her Kuwaiti sponsor who is currently serving a term in prison.

The arrest follows a tip-off the Director General of Drug Control Department Major General Sheikh Ahmad Al-Khalifa received about a possible connection between the maid and the prisoner in drug trade. A team of detectives was formed immediately to follow-up the case and an agent managed to seal a deal with the inmate to sell 8 grams of heroin for KD 200, in which they agreed the contraband would be left near a garbage container at a specific spot in Adailiya area.

In the meantime, anti-narcotics men were on guard, when suddenly they spotted the Filipino maid near the container. Police arrested the maid, and she led them to her apartment where an additional kilogram of heroin was found. She confessed to peddling in narcotics on behalf of the inmate, ever since she found a job inside his home as a maid. Police are investigating the case to determine the third party who brings drugs to the maid, seeing the sponsor is still in jail.
