Bedoun stabs, sends Pakistani to ICU in fight over melon rate
KUWAIT CITY, June 11: A Pakistani man suffered serious injuries when a Bedoun youth stabbed him several times.
Eyewitnesses revealed the Bedoun, who sold watermelons, had a heated argument with the Pakistani and it escalated into a fistfight. In the middle of the argument, the Bedoun took a knife and stabbed the Pakistani several times, leaving him in a pool of blood.
A team of security officers, along with medical emergency workers, rushed to the location after the Operations Room received information on the fight. They took the injured to Farwaniya Hospital where he is now confined at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), while the Bedoun was arrested and referred to the concerned security department for interrogation and other necessary legal action.
Transvestites held: Hawally police officers recently arrested four transvestites in Salmiya. While patrolling the area, the officers noticed the suspicious behavior of four ‘women’ inside a vehicle, so they signaled for the driver to pull over. However, the officers realized the ‘women’ were actually men clad in women’s clothes when they demanded for their identification documents. The transvestites were referred to the relevant security department for the necessary legal action.
Swindler nabbed: Police arrested a Kuwaiti wanted by law for his involvement in a swindling case.
Security sources revealed the Kuwaiti has been ordered to pay KD 50,000 as part of a financial claim, in addition to other charges of fraud filed against him. Sources said he was arrested after the officers received information that he has swindled some of his compatriots. He was referred to the concerned security department for prosecution.
