Kuwaiti man stabs 4 security guards at KU Faculty of Arts
KUWAIT CITY, June 10: A Kuwaiti man stabbed and injured four security guards at the entrance of Kuwait University’s (KU) Faculty of Arts, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The Kuwaiti wanted to enter the campus to pick up his wife who he claimed was not well. The guards, however, didn’t allow because he neither had an entrance permit nor was he a student of the faculty. Incensed, the man came out of his car and assaulted the security guards with a knife. His wife who happened to witness the scene reportedly collapsed and slipped into coma.
Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the scene on receiving information and referred the injured to Amiri Hospital for treatment. The case was referred to Kaifan Police Station to establish the motive behind the fight.
Some witnesses claimed that the student is not the wife of the Kuwaiti, but his girlfriend and that she called him for help when one of the security guards molested her.
Kuwaiti files complaint: A Kuwaiti man, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a complaint with the Sabah Al-Nasser Police Station accusing unidentified persons of breaking into his home in the area and stealing KD 600 cash and gold jewelry worth KD 5,300.

Remains referred to Forensics: The remains of a 38-year-old Bangladeshi, who worked as a caretaker of an animal farm in Kabad, were referred to Forensics to know the cause of his death, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Acting on information that a man was lying unconscious, paramedics and securitymen rushed to the scene, but on examination, found that the man had already died.
Police out to find murderer: Officers of the Capital Criminal Investigations Department are conducting intense investigations to find the murderer of a 60-year-old Kuwaiti man whose decomposed remains were found a few days ago in his house in Al-Surra after more than a year of his death. Forensic report stated that the death was caused by a blow with a sharp object on the head, reports Al-Nahar daily.
According to the daily, the friends and relatives of the victim have been summoned for interrogation. A security source, however, said it would be very difficult to find the murderer because the corpse was discovered more than a year after the death and it is likely that the murderer left the country after committing the crime.
