KUWAIT CITY, June 6: Police are looking for a gang of pimps believed to be Asians for allegedly kidnapping five women of different Asian nationalities and forcing them into prostitution, reports Al-Rai daily.
A police source said the five victims have filed complaints with the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station.
One of the women narrated to police how she planned her escape from the captors and helped the other four also to escape.
The women said the men held them behind bars for one week and forced them to have sex with men.
The complainants have so far failed to identity the place where they were held captive.

Kissing in public: Police have arrested an Iranian youth and his Filipina girlfriend for kissing and hugging in a public place, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
The daily quoting security sources said police rushed to a beach when several people resented such behavior and took the couple into custody. They have been referred to the authorities.

Car thief sought: Police are looking for the brother of a Sergeant Major for stealing and dismantling cars abandoned on the roadside in Taima and selling parts at the Amghara Scrapyard, reports Al-Rai daily.
The theft was discovered when a police patrol saw a tow truck lifting a car which was reported stolen by a Kuwaiti woman.
When police interrogated the driver of the tow truck, he provided the telephone number of the man who had ordered him to tow the car.
When police summoned the caller, he did not go to the police station but instead his brother, the Sergeant Major visited the police station.
During interrogation the brother claimed someone had called his brother (the suspect) and offered to sell the car.
However, when the Sergeant Major could not convince the cops he offered KD 600 to the owner of the car to drop the case, but she refused.
