Briton falls to death trying to reach ‘angry’ girlfriend
KUWAIT CITY, May 30: Criminal Evidences Men referred the body of a British national who had fallen from the sixth floor of a building in Salmiya area to Forensics to determine the cause of death.
The British man who lived at the 6th floor of the building is said to have quarreled with his girlfriend who happened to live at floor 5 of the same building and she refused to answer his phone calls, so the man tried to enter the girl’s apartment by tying a rope from his own apartment with the aim of sliding down through the window. However, something went wrong in the process, and the man fell and died of serious fractures. Sources said high ranking security officials were present at the scene. A case has since been registered for investigation.
Man kills self: A 53-year-old Kuwaiti reportedly ended his life inside the bathroom of his home in Mubarak Al-Kabir, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports the man ended his life by strangulating himself with a computer cable.
Commenting on the man’s death, the relatives said he was suffering from depression and psychological problems following his marriage recently.
The remains of the victim have been referred to Forensics. Police investigations are continuing.
Drugs kill Kuwaiti: A 32-year-old Kuwaiti allegedly died due to overdose of drugs, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The death was reported to police by the victim’s sister. When police rushed to the house in Doha, Jahra police found the man on the floor.
Police have seized from near the corpse drug consuming tools and referred the remains to Forensics.
Drugs with American: The Mubarak Al-Kabir police have arrested a US citizen for allegedly possessing drugs, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The daily quoting security sources said the suspect was taken into custody while driving along the Fahaheel Expressway. Police are said to have seized from his car a quantity of heroin. The daily did not give more details.
Meanwhile, police have arrested an unidentified Lebanese man for possessing hashish, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The suspect was arrested on a road in Sabhan. The hashish was reportedly found hidden in his car.
