Two Kuwaitis held for robbing expat passers-by

KUWAIT CITY, May 26: The Jahra police have arrested two unidentified Kuwaitis in Taima for robbing expatriates, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to reports the police station of the area received several complaints and following these complaints police set a trap for the men but failed to arrest them.
However, a police patrol spotted two men driving in a car and they looked confused when they saw a police car.
When police asked the man behind the wheel to pull over and show his ID, he looked frightened.
Police then arrested him and the man in the passenger seat and took them to a police station and during interrogation they broke down and admitted to robbing pedestrians, most of them Asians.
They have been referred to the concerned authorities for interrogation.

‘Dish’ thief caught: Police have arrested an unidentified Bangladeshi man for stealing satellite dishes from rooftops in Taima and selling them in the scrap market in Amghara, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to reports the man was caught on suspicion and during interrogation he admitted to the charge. He has been referred for further interrogations.

Gambling den raided
:  Police from the Capital governorate have arrested six Asians for running a gambling den and drinking alcohol during a raid on an apartment in Salhiya, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports the area police acting on information raided the den and caught the men red-handed and referred them to the authorities.
