Restriction on visas for Pakistanis

I would like to ask what we (Pakistanis) can do or who we can approach in connection with the restriction on visas for  Pakistanis. Today I went to Farwania Immigration Office and the lady at the counter didn’t accept my application. After that I approached the Asst. G.M of the office. He said that visas for Pakistanis have been stopped adding that he didn’t know when the issuance of these visas will be restarted.

Name withheld

: As this is a government decision, it is useless to approach any official. No one can do anything until the government lifts the ban.

The only thing you can do is approach your embassy to ask the Pakistan government to intervene by sending a senior official to Kuwait to discuss the issue. There is no other remedy at the moment.

embarrasing situationSuperman | 7/20/2011 1:36:01 PM i brought my wife to kuwait, finished all the formalities before stamping of residence, now jawazaat saying that visas ban of pakistani. my question is if visa's are banned why are they doing medical?why are they taking the insurance fees?why are they making finger prints? moreover why do they stamp the visas in native country? JUST FOR THE SAKE OF MONEY?? no one knows, but this is really frustrating and embarrasing after bringing family here to kuwait spending all this money and again sending them back on a new airline ticket. and if we talk to our embassy THEY HAVE NO ANSWER,my other question is, ARE THERE ANY OFFICIALS SITTING IN THE PAKISTANI EMBASSY??OR THEY ARE JUST DUMMIES???

past 6 months.Srivi | 5/26/2011 10:19:17 AM it is not only one Mohammad visa rejected in kuwait. For the past 6 months to 1 year, there are so many pakistanis daughters, children visa also rejected. Each and every officer and counter person in jawazat, knows that pakistanis visa is banned. but sitting in islamabad, pakistan, kuwait embassy of pakistan is announcing the news as fake and baseless.
Restriction on visas for Pakistanis Muhammad Naeem | 5/25/2011 4:10:44 PM Dear Mr. Irfan, you comment that it is fake news, above topic posted by me (Mohammad). i have my application (for my family visa), who already visited 2 time to kuwait which Ass. G.M. incercleed my nationality and return to me that visas are suspended for the time being.i will invite you to come with me, we will go togather once again to know the realty. i don't know why govt. having deual policy for the subject.
Even officer dont knowSrivi | 5/25/2011 10:53:37 AM It is not one person rejected. So many pakistanis daughters visa also rejected. See the above topic, the person personally went to counter also met Asst. GM, mudir of the ministry, even manager rejected. Even director of jawazat, dont know, when ban will be lifted, when visa will be started to issue ? Govt memo, notification is different, practical life is different.
no clear instructionSrivi | 5/25/2011 10:27:03 AM The above is govt notification, in paper. But, practically, truth is different. It is communication Gap, between counter staff and officials, whether to issue visa or not to issue visa. There is no clear instruction to counter staff. As far as we know, there are so many pakistanis, rejected visa even for children, for visa Ban. Is there any children, daughters are banned for visa by birth, in pakistan. ? Thats the a practical life. Not official memo, as above.
govt policy...Irfan Ellahi | 5/25/2011 5:26:16 AM there is no any changes for any kind of visas for pakistani nationals...its just fake news & some fake people spreading it to as govt policy...but you can try again...good luck
@ Adil MehmoodMustaq Ahmed Khan | 5/24/2011 10:45:35 AM I dont know why Pakistan Govt. is always under denial state. They should act like matured people and accept the reality whats going around.
Pakistan Foreight Affairs ResponseAdil Mehmood | 5/24/2011 10:26:26 AM I have contacted Pakistan Foreign Affairs and here is what they told me ""PR. NO.179/2011 Date: 23/05/2011 News Reports In Kuwaiti Newspapers Regarding Stoppage Of Visas For The Pakistanis The Embassy of Kuwait in Islamabad has confirmed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that the news item published in some Kuwaiti newspapers, claiming that entry visas and work permit visas for Pakistani nationals have been stopped, is baseless and incorrect. The Embassy has further assured that no instructions in this regard have been issued by the Government of Kuwait. Islamabad 23 May 2011 """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
Transfer pak_kuw | 5/24/2011 8:13:15 AM Can please anybody tel me about Pakistanis Transfer from one company to other is ban or open ?. I have Job offer from a company but im afraid if release is open or close.because some ppl are saying its closed
govt policySrivi | 5/23/2011 11:33:30 AM Yes, it is an Govt of Kuwait, policy matter to decide the visa issuance and ban, on the grounds of security reasons about pakistan govt and its activities on terrorism, safety and funding, etc. But, Govt of kuwait, regularly review the status of visa ban, as and when required, and remove the visa ban, if required, if security status becomes normal situation, regular condition. kuwait govt has no intention to avoid any country, for dependant or visit visa, other than security of kuwait. try ur luck, thru pakistan embassy and pakistan government, thru foreign affairs ministry of pakistan.
