KUWAIT CITY, May 18: Police have arrested a Sri Lankan housemaid for falsely accusing her Kuwaiti sponsor of making her pregnant, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. The housemaid allegedly filed a complaint with the Hawalli Police Station accusing her sponsor of terminating her services because she accused him of forcing her to have sex with him and making her pregnant.

However, the investigations conducted by police showed the housemaid was impregnated by her Asian lover. The lovers have been referred to the Public Prosecution.

Maid steals riyals: Police are looking for an Asian housemaid for stealing 50,000 Saudi riyals from her sponsor who is living in Sabah Al-Nasser, reports Alam Alyawm daily. According to reports the maid stole the money when the family was out shopping.
