Ministry of Health (MoH) will finalize procedures to bring in about 1,360 male and female nurses selected by the overseas recruitment committees during recent interviews in Philippines, India and other Asian countries. The nurses are expected to arrive in the country by the end of this year, reports Al-Nahar daily quoting Assistant Undersecretary for Medical Affairs Dr Qais Duwairi.

The step is a part of measures by the Health Ministry to improve health care, in line with international standards, he added.
