Woman dies after aborting fetus, Kuwaiti man arrested Arab Teacher caught stealing chocolates on CCTV

KUWAIT CITY, May 13: The Hawally police have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti man for impregnating an Asian woman, reports Al-Rai daily.
It has been reported the man was taken into custody after the woman died after aborting her fetus inside an apartment in Nugra. She was five months pregnant.
A Forensic report showed the woman died as a result of profuse bleeding.
The owner of the apartment and three other women living in the apartment have been taken into custody for interrogation. All the women are believed to be runaway maids.
The reports also say the doctor who carried out the abortion operation allegedly left the country when he discovered the woman’s condition was critical.

Kuwaiti ‘couple’ held: The Hawalli police have arrested a Kuwaiti man and his compatriot girlfriend (who works as a legal consultant) for consuming drugs. The couple was allegedly caught red-handed in an open area in Hawalli, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to a security source the couple was caught by a police patrol during routine duty in the area.
Following their arrest the cops are said to have seized from the couple various types of drugs and some tools used to consume drugs.
The suspects have been referred to the General Department for Drugs Control for further interrogations.

Caught on CCTV: An unidentified female Arab teacher who was caught stealing chocolates by a CCTV camera installed at one of the well-known commercial malls in Jahra was let go after she pleaded for mercy and signed a pledge not to commit the offence again, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
According to reports an employee of the mall monitoring the camera saw the woman putting the chocolates in her bag and alerted the security guards at the exit point.
After the woman left the mall after paying for her purchases she was asked to show the bag and the security guards pulled out the chocolates.
The ashamed teacher pleaded and said she is a teacher and begged not to be disgraced in front of the people.

Military man detained: The Jahra public prosecutor has ordered the detention of a military man from an unidentified Gulf state after customs officers at one of the land border points found an unlicensed gun hidden in his car, reports Al-Rai daily.
It has been reported the suspect came upon invitation to attend a wedding ceremony. He was arrested at the Salmi border post.
The visitor and the gun have been referred to the Jahra Security Directorate.
