I have been working in a private company for 10 years. My salary is KD 245 (KD 225/- basic and KD 20 allowances). I want to bring my wife to Kuwait on a visit visa. Can I get visit visa on this salary?

Answer: There is no lower limit to get a visit visa. The Immigration officials say the sponsor should be earning ‘enough’ to bear the expenses of his wife during her stay. Normally, that is taken to be around KD 250/- but people with lower salaries have been given visit visas. So it is all at the discretion of the Immigration Department.
