New Zealander teacher dancing drunk on the road Spoilt food destroyed, illegal billboards pulled down

KUWAIT CITY, May 9: Personnel from the Mubarak Al-Kabir Municipality during several campaigns in April 2011 are said to have destroyed 150 kilos of spoiled food, issued 44 citations for not abiding by rules of hygiene, confiscated 563 pirated CDs, and towed to the Municipality garage 15 cars which were found abandoned on the roadsides and removed 360 illegal billboards, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

Dancing drunk on road: Police have arrested a female New Zealander teacher for drinking alcohol, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily added the woman was arrested in Jahra in the early hours of the morning after police received information that she was dancing in the middle of a road.
The teacher was high on alcohol and police referred her to North Jahra Police Station.

Cross-dresser nabbed: Police have arrested a cross-dresser who was allegedly wanted by law for serving a jail term, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Police acting on information rushed to a location in Al-Na’im, in Jahra and found the suspect ‘unconscious’ slumped on the steering wheel of a car.
However, when a police officer tapped on the car door, the suspect woke up and was soon taken into custody and referred to the Sentences Enforcement Department.

Drunkard beaten: A drunken man who reportedly went to his friend’s home to quarrel was attacked by four brothers of his friend and severely beaten. Later, they are said to have referred the drunken man to police station to register a case against him.
