Kuwaiti man arrested in rape attempt of ex-wife
KUWAIT CITY, May 7: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti man for allegedly attempting to rape his ex-wife, reports Al-Anba daily.
A Kuwaiti woman called the Operations Room, saying her ex-husband broke into her home and attempted to have sex with her.
The ex-husband, however, denied the woman’s claims and said he just wanted to see his children.
On checking records, police found that the man was wanted by law for failing to pay debts worth KD 6,000 and referred him to authorities.
Meanwhile, police have arrested a Kuwaiti man for consuming drugs, reports Al-Anba daily.
The man went to the Government Mall at the Liberation Tower to apply for recruiting two housemaids but the transaction was rejected as he was not married.
The man then fell fast asleep and even started snoring. He woke up shortly before police arrived and made an attempt to escape, but police caught him and referred him to authorities. Police seized drug consumption tools from the man’s car.
