KUWAIT CITY, May 1: A Syrian youth allegedly ended his life by hanging himself with a rope tied to the ceiling of his room when his girlfriend told him she no longer loved him, reports Al-Shahed daily.
A police source said the victim was chatting with his girlfriend on a webcam and his girlfriend saw him committing suicide on her webcam.
The roommates informed the Operations Department of the Interior Ministry and when police rushed to the spot they found him dangling from a rope.
The girlfriend will be summoned for interrogation.

Psycho case:  Police recently searched the home of a Kuwaiti man who allegedly committed suicide a few days ago by shooting himself in front of a police station, reports Al-Anba daily quoting security sources.
The same sources said police found four guns, a hunting gun and a machine-gun and a large number of ammunition rounds, sorcery tools and magic charms in the home of the victim.
The sources added the deceased had earlier filed a complaint with the police against accusing magicians of targeting him and his family over the years.
The family said the deceased suffered from severe psychological problems and three days prior to committing suicide he began to assault his wife and children.
Psychologists say the deceased was suffering from despair and it may have led him to commit suicide.
The sources added when the man accused his wife of black magic, she tried to persuade him that she never indulged in sorcery or went to a black magician but she failed to convince him.
The daily added the man even threatened to kill his son if the Director General of Criminal Investigation Department sent his son to convince him to give up his plan.
