I have been in Kuwait for just over a year now but I had lived in Kuwait for nearly six years before I got my residence canceled and went back to my country where I stayed for over three years. I earn over KD 500 and am a university graduate. Can I apply for a driving licence?

Answer: No, you can’t. Although you meet two conditions - earn at least KD 400 a month and must be a university graduate - you don’t meet the third condition which requires you to have been in Kuwait for two years at the time of application. Once you leave the country after cancelling the residence, the previous stay is not counted.
