Team seizes huge quantities of foodstuffs, porno CDs in raid Municipality campaign targets hawkers
KUWAIT CITY, April 22: The Anti-hawkers team of the Kuwait Municipality during a crackdown on hawkers who sell their merchandize in front of mosques is said to have seized huge quantities of foodstuffs - vegetables and fruits — and porno CDs during a campaign in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Khaitan, reports Al-Anba daily.
The campaign was supervised by senior Kuwait Municipality official Sultan Al-Jabiri. Speaking to the daily Al-Jabiri said the team will continue in its efforts to get rid of this menace to protect the health and in the best interests of the citizens and residents.
He added strict instructions have been given by the minister of State for Municipality Affairs and Director-General of the Municipality to get rid of such phenomenon in the country and not to allow anyone to exhibit goods for sale in public places without license.
