Divorcee fails to convince cops lover is her fiancé Police nab three Asians for running illegal calls center

KUWAIT CITY, April 16: Mubarak Al-Kabeer police arrested three Asians for operating an illegal overseas call service center, reports Al-Rai daily.
One of the Asians reportedly met a police officer and offered overseas call services for special discounted prices. Subsequently, the Asian was put under surveillance and police, armed with an arrest warrant, raided his apartment and arrested him and his two other partners.
Police confiscated communication devices and a computer from the illegal service providers and referred them to authorities. 
Meanwhile, Khaitan police arrested another Asian for offering similar services in the area, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.

He’s my fiancé: Police have arrested a couple for committing an immoral act inside a car in the parking lot of a public garden in Sabah Al-Salem area, reports Al-Rai daily.
Police rushed to the place on receiving information and referred the lovers to police station. The woman, a divorcee, had tried in vain to convince police that the man was her fiancé.

Kuwaiti mugged: Police are looking for two unidentified men who assaulted a Kuwaiti man in Salhiya and stole KD 2,000 and an iPhone from him, reports Al-Rai daily.

Indian assaulted: Police are looking for four Kuwaiti youngsters who assaulted a 34-year-old Indian on a street in Dasma and ran away, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The Indian suffered deep cuts on his head and was found lying unconscious. Acting on information, paramedics rushed to the scene and referred him to Amiri Hospital for treatment.

Thieves nabbed: Police have arrested three members of a five-member gang specialized in breaking into houses and stealing, reports Al-Anba daily.
A police source said Hawalli police conducted intense investigations after receiving many complaints of thefts in the area and managed to arrest two Egyptian youths as they were leaving a building. The Egyptians initially claimed that they came to visit to a relative, but later got nervous and admitted to planning to steal from an apartment. They said they usually knock on the door and if nobody responds, they break into the flat and rob all valuables.
The thieves admitted to committing 16 such crimes and guided police to their third partner who was immediately arrested. Police are now looking for the other two.

Drug store hit: Police are looking for an unidentified person for stealing money from a pharmacy in Andalous, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The thief reportedly came to purchase a medicine, but the pharmacist refused to give it without a prescription. This infuriated the man and he threatened the pharmacist with a knife and ran away with all the money in the cash counter.

Dud cheques issued: Police are looking for a Lebanese man who is wanted by law for issuing two dud cheques worth KD 146,000 and USD 650,000 respectively, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. His sponsor had also filed an absconding case against him.

Narcotics seized: Customs officers at the Kuwait Inte-rnational Airport detained five Egyptians over the past two weeks for attempting to smuggle narcotic tablets (Tramadol), reports Al-Anba daily. The Ministry of Health (MoH) had relayed directives stating that such tablets are classified as narcotics.
